Easy Jelly Bean Party Favors #WW #Craft

Tuesday, September 10, 2013 by Lolli 11 Comments

No, I’m not throwing a Halloween party any time soon. But I did pick up a big bag of gourmet jelly beans the other day and had a fun idea. I separated all of the orange and yellow jelly beans into a separate bowl (while the kids and I snacked on the other colors), grabbed some white tulle and some orange ribbon, and whipped up some fun little jelly bean party favors.

If I had some green ribbon, I could have made them look like pumpkins….but I still think they’re cute. You could customize these for any special occasion – with a child’s favorite color, red jelly beans with green ribbon to look like apples or strawberries, etc.

Step 1: Separate all of the orange and yellow jelly beans into a bowl (or whichever color you are using):

Step 2: Cut a square of tulle large enough to fit your jelly beans (I had to double mine up because the tulle I had was only 6 inches wide and I needed a piece larger than 6 inches square). Place jelly beans in the center of the square.

Step 3: Gather the tulle up around the pile of jelly beans and secure it closed with a ribbon.

The kids loved them….especially when we realized that that the yellow and orange colored jelly beans are the BEST flavors. We had a little party of our own and dug in!
