….kind of.
I had a blast last year with my two fantastic roomies, Amy and Safire.
I met a ton of great bloggers, connected with dozens of brands, brought home a suitcase full of awesome swag, and enjoyed more parties in one weekend than I usually do in a year.
Plus, I participated in my first ever 5K race (who cares that we were some of the last to finish? I had an severely injured back. We had a blast running and walking through the streets of New York City wearing tutus).
I am sad that I’m missing BlogHer this year, but I know that my BlogHer-bound friends will keep me in the loop.
Plus, I am super excited to be participating in the first ever BlogHop Conference at Home with an amazing list of bloggers NOT going to BlogHer. You will be amazed at some of the great topics these ladies are going to be covering (I know…I’ve seen the list!).
PS – If you are at BlogHer this weekend, feel free to send me all of your extra swag….
PPS – I know. My Wordless Wednesdays are NEVER wordless…

I won’t make it to one of those Blog conferences until I am sixty, but a 5k race? That’s possible. Way to go girl! Come and join the conversations at Self Sagacity and post your Thursday Two Questions. Linky is up now until Saturday.

sorry you will miss out… I wish I could go (never have yet) esp since it being in San Diego, I could meet lots of bloggers I have grown to know & love over the last 1+ year and bonus see my youngest son & dil in their first home. they are expecting their first baby in September too… I would be in double-dipped heaven!
scrappysue says
there are so many bloggy conferences going on now, it must be hard to choose – and hard to miss out on some too!
Cheryl says
I’m not going this year either….although I am super glad I got to meet you last year! :)
Will have to check in for the non-BlogHer events!
MoninaW says
I wish you were going too! But I know we’ll get to meet one of these days!

I wish I was going to BlogHer too. But since I can’t go, I’m doing the next best thing! I’m hosting a Tampa BlogHer meetup. :-) I am really looking forward to it.
alicia says
One of these days I’ll make it to blogher. You make it sound so fun…
Jen says
Aw, that’s too bad you won’t be going again this year. I was hoping to see you again.
Maybe at a Bloggy Boot Camp. :)
HaB says
A small part of me would like to go just once…but, then again, I’m not sure I want to. Either way, I do enjoy reading all the posts and tweets that come out of the conference. It’s like being able to attend the conference without having to actually attend the conference.
Lolli says
I would have loved to meet you, too! It’s amazing how many people I’ve met and connected with since BlogHer last year!! Have a great time!
Lolli says
Oh, yes! Conferences are a HUGE thing! Last year, I went to 4….this year, I’ll be heading to 3. Conferences are an amazing way to meet other bloggers you’ve connected with, meet brands to work with, and learn blogging and business tips from the best. I highly recommend a conference! BlogHer just happens to be one of the biggest.
Lolli says
So a bunch of us decided to put together some amazing blogging topics and we’ll be posting “conference classes at home.” I’ll share all the details soon. I’ll be posting my cool class on Friday. ;)
Lolli says
I’m sure you will! I’m sad too. Last year was a blast, but this year just wasn’t in the stars. ;) Hopefully next year!
Lolli says
After finally meeting you at Type-A, I am even more sad that I can’t hang out at BlogHer. The truth is….BlogHer tends to be too busy for much chatting time, anyway. :) Have a GREAT time!

Next Year!
Can anyone participate in the bloghop conference at home??
Stacey Nerdin @ Tree, Root, and Twig says
That’s where we first met – last year’s BlogHer! Although it was *very* brief, wasn’t it? We need more time at a conference some year. :)
Theresa says
Bah, I want to go to! I will just have to party in my pjs.
Tammy says
I’ve been reading lots about BlogHer and I wish I were going, too! I’m still sort-of a newbie at this blogging thing but it sounds like a really neat, neat time!
Amanda says
I’ve never gotten to go, but I want to! Please tell us more about this BlogHop conference.

Terra Heck says
I’ve never been to BlogHer. It’s my hope that I can go next year. I’ve heard great things about it. I’m sure I’d be overwhelmed but I could so deal with it if I was going. Love the tutus!

Oh, Lolli, I would have loved to meet you! Last year I gave away most of my BlogHer swag in a big giveaway, maybe I’ll do it again :)
Have fun with BlogHer at home, that sounds like a lot of fun as well.
