Learning to Ride a Bike – Wordless Wednesday

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 by Lolli 28 Comments

He’s not quite ready to ride a two-wheeler on his own but he’s pretty thrilled with himself. And despite the 95+ degree heat this week, he has begged Dad to take him outside to fix up his bike and pump up his tires and teach him how to ride his bike……

…..every waking minute.

Ha ha! I taught his class on Sunday and that was all he could talk about – that he was going to learn to ride a two-wheeler this week! NO training wheels! So fun!!! I think we need to talk bikes. :)

Getting the training wheels off is a big goal for my two oldest this summer. And you got some great shots! Especially love the look on his face in the last one! :)

That’s a great father and son bonding activity. I’m sure he will be soon riding away on his 2 wheeler. It took my 7yr old about 2 attempts to be able to steadily ride without the trainers.

Send him on over. I’m sure between my son’s enthusiasm and my husband’s patience for chasing a bike around, he’ll pick it up!

Can I send my son over for bike training. He is over trying to ride a 2-wheeler and just rides his Razor around.
