Like Mother, Like Daughter – Wordless Wednesday #Linky

Tuesday, October 18, 2011 by Lolli 20 Comments

The other night, at dinner, Reese was trying to remember some lyrics. So she did what any 8 year old would do. She ran in the other room, grabbed the netbook, and googled her question. All while eating her dinner, of course.

It’s the best way to get an answer fast when you can’t remember something ;)

Oh my gosh! That is SOOO cute! It is so typical of today! My five-year old stepdaughter calls my old iPhone her iPhone and carries it around EVERYWHERE. If she misplaces it, she runs around…where is my phone???
I mean really? FIVE? And you can’t live without your iPhone? LOL!
    :-)

I love Google when it confirms I’m singing the right lyrics, I hate it when it proves I’ve been singing the wrong lyrics for years and no one loved me enough to tell me.

Love the pictures. Kids are so accustom to getting info off the internet. It’s so convenient, so I can’t blame them at all. My daughter wanted to know how to spell a word, I said look it up in the dictionary. My son said, but you’re on the computer you can just go to dictionary.com, I said no, look it up. What if you had no computer, you still need to know how to use a dictionary. So amusing to see how tech savvy kids are these days. Lovely kids too btw.

Isn’t it amazing how technologically superior our kids are?

My son told me he wanted to be Finn McMissile for Halloween, and I asked him where am I going to find a costume like that? His answer… look online!

Luckily now he wants to be a zombie (as in Plants vs. Zombies).

If my kids have a question and I hesitate AT ALL with the answer, they all say “Can we just look it up?” Sigh. I wish I could be reasonably offended by that statement. :)
