Michelangelo’s David Apollo – Wordless Wednesday

Tuesday, March 5, 2013 by Lolli 8 Comments

We were surprised during this past weekend’s stop at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. to catch Michelangelo’s David Apollo on the next to last day of its loan to the Smithsonian.

Although David was rather small and unspectacular, it was pretty amazing to see a little piece of history. The Smithsonian is good about that.
