Spring Has Sprung – #PSF Give Me Your Best Shot

Thursday, April 11, 2013 by Lolli 15 Comments

I arrived back in Maryland early this morning (early, early) and discovered that Spring had finally showed up in our town. Last week we were still running the heater, and this week we’re sweating in 80+ degrees.

Last week, there were no blossoms on the trees in the neighborhood. This week, the blossoms are everywhere. I love cherry blossoms in the DC area.

Watch out, allergies! Spring has sprung!

My eyes and nose might not be happy about the blossoms, but my camera sure is loving it!

Has Spring sprung in your neighborhood yet?

Beautiful spring photos! We are still stuck in winter here, as was evidenced by the 4+ inches of snow that covered everything this morning and is stil falling from the sky! I guess it’s just MONTANA where the snow season is from Oct. to June! UGH! :P

I am so glad we live in such a pretty place, aren’t you? I love the spring flowers. I think Spring is here after all. Despite the couple of 80 degree days we had last week.

Aww. Thanks! It was fun taking the pictures because every time I moved around there was a different background. :)

The ladybug was my favorite one, too. I was so excited to find the ladybug in the tree. It was hard to catch everything still, though!

Sadly, we seem to have missed spring. We went from a super late-ending winter straight to summer. Grr!

I was shocked at how fast ours popped out….before I left for California on Monday we were wearing our winter coats. We had snow during spring break, which I guess was 2 weeks ago, but still!

P.S. Jon talks about the cherry blossoms in DC all the time. Being there in the spring is one of those things we WILL do together someday. (:

Gorgeous! Our trees are just barely budding here–which is probably best since it snowed on Tuesday. :)

I LOVE the one with the ladybug, but they are all gorgeous blooms. Our apricot tree has bloomed, but we are still waiting on the cherry tree and some of the other fruit trees.

We’re mostly green now in GA, but it’s been a lovely Spring!
