I promise you that my niece climbed into the cage by herself and stayed there, happy. My nearly-8-year-old was begging me to let him have a turn in the cage, too.

  10. My second daughter, now almost 14, spent years being deathly afraid of dogs. It was the kind of phobia/terror that we wondered if she needed therapy for it. Luckily (and amazingly) she overcame her fear and now she dog sits and is a huge animal lover. Just don’t ask her to go anywhere near butterflies… ;)
