Earth Day at Mountainside

Wednesday, April 28, 2010 by Lolli 25 Comments

I’ve never been involved in an Earth Day celebration like the one I attended this past Saturday. And despite my aching feet after walking the 115 acre facility for 3 1/2 hours, I left Mountainside feeling inspired and refreshed. There is so much we can do. Even the “little things” make a difference (for good or for bad).

Here’s a glimpse at the event (click each thumbnail to see individual photos). Isn’t it gorgeous here in Maryland? Even though I’ve lived here for 12 years, I am still in awe of this beautiful landscape.

Yes, I was asked to be the photographer for the Earth Day celebration, and yes, I have about 300 more pictures where these came from. And yes, my feet still hurt.

PS–I might be back later for another post. Today is my 15th Anniversary!!

After loading the pictures onto WP, go to the Gallery (within the post). From there scroll down to the very bottom (below the pictures) and you can chose to post as a gallery. You decide how many pictures across. It’s a fun way to handle lots of pictures. :)
