The Rainbow Loom Craze – Wordless Wednesday

Tuesday, October 29, 2013 by Lolli 8 Comments

Two months ago, my daughter wore her very first rainbow loom bracelets to the doctor’s office for a check up. The nurses went crazy over the bracelets she had made and pulled in all of their nurse friends to see her creations. They were new and hadn’t hit the general adult population quite yet.

Now? They are everywhere.

And the designs are getting more and more complicated.

This is what has been made at my house in the last 24 hours:

Ok some of those look amazingly complex I would hate to see how long it would take me to make one. I can bet not as quickly as one made by one of the younger kids, they seem to catch that stuff so quickly.

I haven’t heard of this yet, but my grandson is only in preschool so that’s probably why. Looks neat to make!

My daughters have been figuring out how to do it by hand, with rubber bands they find at school. I have not bought the kit yet, as I am not ready for bands all over my house.
