The Beach Days of Summer #PSF

Thursday, July 9, 2015 by Lolli 4 Comments

There’s something relaxing and rejuvenating about spending a couple of days at the beach…even if the visit is short.

Since our stop in Florida this week was a quick one as we start off our summer of travel, we tried to fit as much in as possible during our stay.

I had to laugh as we visited the beach a few times….and then came right home to my in law’s house to watch shark week on TV. The fact that the kids kept wanting to go back to swim in the ocean after watching shark week? Kind of incredible.

Just took a three day road trip cruising the Pacific Coast Highway in California in a Mustang convertible (rented of course!) for our 15 year anniversary! We live in San Diego so the beach isn’t a novelty, but I loved seeing how the coastline changed as we drove father north. The water was such a deep rich shade of blue I fell in love with CA all over again. We went as far as Monterey before we had to turn around to come home. Lots of fun and relaxation as my husband and I reminisced about our marriage.

Looks like a great time! I would love to go to the beach someday with my family. We will have to settle for the lake, heading out there tomorrow morning. :)

I wish we lived near the beach because I’d sure like to go there in the summer.

I was so excited to see that y’all visited the Gulf. We love it so much!
